You should be here, standing with your arm around me here. Cutting up, cracking a cold beer, saying cheers, hey y'all it's sure been a good year. It's one of those moments, that's got your name written all over it. And you know if I had just one wish it'd be that you didn't have to miss this. You should be here.
Happy Easter!

Weston was just his happy, chipper self! He loved finding the eggs, and would {slowly} pick them up and put them in the basket. He's also becoming quite the ham.
Gigi got the kids matching Easter baskets with their names on them, this year. It was so cute to watch them walking around the yard with those baskets.
The weather was absolutely perfect. We had a great day.
Life in the Garee household is good, chaotic at times... but really good. Evie and Weston are going to an in home daycare 2 days a week, and they love it. Ev will be starting preschool in the fall and is so excited. The other day we were getting in the car and she said "Am I going to preschool today?" She really was not excited at all about having to wait several more months before she could go... I now fully regret having ever mentioned it to her. Lesson learned.
Evie has also grown into quite the little performer. When family is around she will stand in front of the group and recite her ABC's, or sing some other song. And then clap when she's all done. She's such little person now. It's amazing.
Weston loves to eat. I swear, he will eat us out of house and home. And he eats literally everything. All the time. He's a cuddle bug (so much more than Evie ever was at this age) and he loves to laugh and giggle at things. He recently discovered this squeal-screech combo that he likes to bust out at the dinner table. He cracks himself up doing it, and we all end up laughing too.
One of his other favorite activities is being chased by his sister. They're so cute.
Weston loves the swings, loves to chase the dog, loves...loves... loves. He loves so many things. He's a bright light in our lives and I love seeing the little person he's growing into. And I just adore seeing the two of them together. They have their own special connection and secret language. Melts my heart everyday.
We're all happy and healthy... and can't really ask for more.
Until next time...
